千四百十二: Vesak Day Eve

It was madness last night at most clubs. We reached zouk at about 10.30pm (I had waited about a full half hour w/o being able to get a cab then my cousin picked me up from where i was stranded) and it was like those NYE party type crowds. With not much hope of getting in with the queue stretching from the door to the bus stop, & the horrendous wait for some people, we decided to go off to dbl-o instead. Since there were some of the guys queueing at Dbl-O already, we were pretty much to the front of the queue but we still stood in the queue for about 1++ hours. until midnite. :(

I hadn't had dinner yet then, but just drank on an empty stomach and got abit giddy quite fast. I think this time it was a wrong conbination of people, so I didn't expect much to happen with these people last night. So it was more of a sit down and chit chat session but later on, they tried to move on to the bar and it was so crowded. I wasn't really in any mood, since I was waiting for a phone call. The phone call came at about 1.40am, & I was quite glad to leave the club for some food. Unknowingly, the supper session stretched abit long and I only had time to shower after I reached home at about 6am and then go straight to work. Power right? have never tried work totally w/o sleep the night before. hopefully I can last through the day.

erm. a random photo from the night that Charles took to test out my phone's camera:

Clement/me
@ Dbl-O

Unfortunately my teeth looks like just metal.. Argh.

& to put girls in a good mood, here's my idol in his new advert. I do admit, he is too pretty in this ad, would prefer him to act a little more masculine. :D

千四百十一: GSS

Yes it's finally Pay Day!!

But .. I already shopped yesterday. My cousin wanted to buy a blender so I went to take a look at blenders with him. & he was late.. so I ended up shopping. (#^-^#) There was a sale at URS and UOB cards get an additional 10% off so my shoes were discounted from $34 to $27. hoho. and then I wandered around John Little & discovered the lingerie sale at Triumph section and with my $50 robinsons' voucher, I managed to only pay $4.90 in cash for quite alot of underwear. hoho.

I was so hungry after my cousin finally got his blender I just wanted to go home. was a pity that I couldn't join him & CJ for some drinks. but then i was so tired I just ate dinner & uploaded the Navy Open House pics and then conked out.

& I didn't see my PM around for these 2 days so I asked him online if he was still sunburnt. His face was peeling a little apparently, and he hadn't had the chance to drink with anyone the past 2 days. but .. he has established that i'm a good drinker apparently hehe and will jio me drinking next time :D yah, I'm still sunburnt too, my shoulders are still a weird red and hurts to be touched. (T.T)

Oh, & my Seattle (Redmond) trip has finally been confirmed! 9th-15th June & then I'll go to San Francisco 16th to 20th to visit XQ & sightsee. I'm really excited! cos i've never been to the States before.. & seeing it being paid for makes me feel even happier~ :p gotta start researching on what to do there.. but mainly shopping i guess! (^-^)v

千四百零九: More Alcohol

Last night was booze and more booze.

After work, I rushed to the doctor for my arm, managed to be the first patient, but the treatment took a whole hour again and I was like late for my dinner with the PMs and the other people. When I finally reached UE Square, I didn't know the restaurant was at the Mohammed Sultan side and I walked around the shopping mall trying to find the restaurant & I called my colleagues but all nv checked fone. -.- in the end I had to call my team leader to ask him to tell me where the place was and to give me directions.

When I finally reached there, they had eaten a fair bit, and I felt embarrassed to order food for just me so I just got a drink and tried to cool down. They had chosen to sit outside cos they smoke, and it was such a warm evening. Drank alot, beer, cassis orange, lemon sour, some sake and I was quite tipsy then and sleepy from the previous night. Then they were still harbouring ideas of going to a bar for further drinking, the cute PM, but then C had invited me to his place for a drinking party with his friends so I decided to just head upstairs to the UE apartments and try to work off the tipsy feeling there.

The place was so chaotic when I reached there but also very fun. I didn't expect there to be so many people, and they were already quite drunk and it was very funny, the things they were doing to each other. After another hour of shots and downing of beers, we headed to dbl-O and i found out alot of things bout these people. But.. its been very long since I had the chance to, so I just joined them anyway. It was great fun the whole night, they kept buying drinks but I don't know why I could hold the liquor w/o puking. We only left the place at 3am, after the place closed.

It feels really good to just let go and not think about anything once in a while.

Tomorrow the PMs and us are going bowling I think. so weird. I had thought Sentosa was a better idea.

千四百零八: Indochine

I'm wiped.

Yesterday, we went Indochine for dinner and it was pretty good. We went to the club street one, that's near Tanjong Pagar I think. We had alot of the paper rolls, some fried rice which were really really tasty. & had a beer and a wine. We had dinner from 8-11pm and then we adjourned downstairs to the bar for more drinks and some pool. We only ended at about 1.30am after deciding the winners will treat. haha.

Went home all tipsy and had a good sleep (I think) but I had to wake up at 6.15am this morning to on the heater and go into the shower and i was still not really walking in a straight line when I walked into the bathroom. But after the shower, I felt quite awake. But I am now quite groggy again but I am sure later I will fall asleep after lunch.

Tonight dinner/drinks with them again, Sunday evening oso I think.. :)

千四百零七: Garuda & NYDC

Today I managed to pass 3 out of my 4 test cases left, feel like I did some good work there.

I was supposed to visit XH & baby today, but last minute received a call from JY that the 61 people were going to have dinner & he asked if I wanted to join them. Considering that I haven't met them in 6 months, I gave XH a call to ask if I could postpone the visit (maybe to next Monday, I forgot that I had to go see the Navy exhibition with my cousin on Sunday..) We ate at this place called Garuda, at the Cairnhill carpark building and it was so-so I suppose. Maybe it's cos I havent had much outside food for a while such that I didn't feel that it was horrible or wat, but the rest seemed to think that it wasn't very good. hmmmm

After dinner it was desserts at NYDC. It was a pretty good evening, I haven't seen the guys for a while & it felt very good to just let down my hair and crack stupid jokes and jibe each other for silly things and to know that these people won't take offence. I love you guys!!

Ok tomorrow we're having dinner with the program managers, i'm quite excited about the free meal with the good looking men. hehe.

my eyes are shutting now so gd nite..

千四百零六: Sizzler's

We went to sizzler's at suntec to celebrate Marini's birthday and I think now I regret eating the pepper steak. The weather seem to feel alot warmer with all the pepper in me and I can't stop perspiring even though i've just showered. I'll update photos tomorrow, now just too zzz to move.

I didn't sleep until 4am last nite, all thanks to the coke i drank last evening during OT, the caffeine was enough to keep me up the whole night tossing and turning. My eyes were tired, but my mind was just jumping from here to there without stopping. So, seriously, no more coke for me after lunch!

The PMs (Program Managers) are in sg for about 2 weeks (from MS Japan) and I love it when they come. Firstly, them coming means 3 more cool looking guys in the office. They look alot younger than their age, (they dun look like they are in their late 30s, still very hip and youthful). Secondly, they would bring alot of goodies to give us cos we support their UAT work. thirdly, they would treat us to a good dinner at a restaurant somewhere and get to know us. Which is why i love the Japanese afterwork culture. When u go to such activities after work with them, you get to know them better and it gets easier to work with them after u see the side of the when they let their hair down and they also try to get to know u.

Mr Beng purposefully smiled at me again. I am a little irritated, since he is married and I might get into trouble for smiling back since I don't know which girl is his wife and then sometimes he just ignores me when he sees me (maybe at those times his wife is near). Then I try to smile (abit grimly cos today was quite swamped with work again) and i'm thinking, shit, I look like ugly Betty today. Married people shouldn't go around smiling at people they dun know cos they might be mistaken for being too friendly!!

千四百零五: Ireland Souvenirs

信次 (Shinji) is back today! from his weeklong trip at the Europe MS Office in Ireland, he got each of us a little souvenir:

Coaster from Ireland
Can you guess what Ireland's famous for?

hehe, its pretty cute right? It's the same picture on the other side of it too, and its so cute and clean I can't bear to really use it as a coaster. Guess it'll just be standing on my desk until I bring it home.. & it's true, they drink mostly only Guinness Stout there. (><)

Today was a very bad day. Missed my bus (because it started raining when I was all ready to leave and had to spend time preparing myself for the rain), then the alternative bus was actually earlier than usual BUT took super long to reach the MRT station when it was supposed to take only 10 minutes and the shuttle bus from Queenstown. Usually it was fully packed, but today, the bus was quite empty and the bus uncle decided to wait!!! omg! would have been not too late but he decided to wait until like 8.30am to set off and that's like the time to start work lor! With the heavy morning traffic, he took 15 min to reach the technopark, then it was a five minute walk from the carpark to my block, & I was feeling really grumpy by the time I reached work.

The moment I opened my mailbox, I saw some angry emails about me not doing some work I was supposed to hv done and i was like, HUH??? and I had to sift through the piles of emails & found out I had missed out an email from last week. I mean, I don't purposely shirk from responsibility, if I nv do, it's probably cos I didn't know about it! should have just told me instead of sending me some angry email when the person was just next to me la! & then she had to CC the email to my boss too, I felt so pissed off. I just stayed quiet the whole morning, cos I was very tired from the neverending dreams disturbing my sleep the night b4, and I couldn't really focus on what I was doing. I don't know why there was so much things today, suddenly the MSE enquiries just kept coming and the MSL requests too. In the end, I had to stay at the office until 10pm. argh.

Now I'm still up because I'm waiting for my hair to dry.. zzz

千四百零四: Ipod Video

An introduction to the new member of my necessity family:

Ipod Video
Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow

unfortunately, not Johnny Depp in my bag everyday.. (what a delicious thought that is though..) but this equally delicious and cool looking black Ipod.

Ipod Black
yummy!

I finally managed to sync all my old stuff on it, but I had to greatly cut down the amount of photos I uploaded on it. The optimized version of the photos are much larger in size than my original photos (which totally doesn't make sense) and I had to select just about 4000 photos from the original 9000 photos I had on my old ipod. It came with a black satin casing too, and I didn't want to remove the plastic it came in so I just left the wrapping on and cut (poked) holes in the plastic where the adaptor cable and the earphones are supposed to go. Quite excited at the prospect of using it tomorrow :) so far I haven't seen anyone with a black ipod yet, to be honest.

I've just watched Grey's Anatomy, and it just occurred to me that they have been interns for like 3 seasons and when are they even going to become real surgeons and graduate from their internship??

千四百零三: R.I.P.

Ipod Photo ipod photo

Bought: 26th April 2005
Died: 19th May 2007

You will always be remembered for the happy times you brought to me in a foreign land and for being so sturdy, never having broken down even after being dropped onto asphalt roads, concrete pavements and parquet floors.

*sniffs*

My Ipod Photo left me today.. *howls in anger and sadness* It was a necessity for all the long bus journeys I have to make everyday to and from work, and it was a gift... but now, its over, died on me on my way to Japanese class today I think due to HDD failure. I went to the Apple Service Centre immediately after class and they told me the same thing and that to replace it for me would cos >$400 and it would be better for me to buy a new one. (T.T) I didn't know what to say to that and I just nodded sadly in resignation.

so I went to look at the Ipod section and there was some promotion 12% off all ipods until 31 May, so did some mental calculations and the 30GB Ipod Video was pretty ok after the discount. I couldn't bear the thought of having no music to go to work with on Monday, so I decided to buy one there and then. sighz. haiz. time to eat grass next month. Or maybe this was what the GST Offset Package was meant for. argh.

After that, I had dinner with my cousin at Pasta Cafe. Sambal Marinara for me as usual, but the squid was kinda tough, or maybe my teeth got alot weaker these few days. We were almost locked in at Taka, when we made a last minute detour to Best Denki when it was almost closing, but fortunately manage to find some way out.

Sighz. I still do not feel well about the demise of such an important item in my life. so Good night all.

千四百零二: 迷惑

Have you collected your GST offset package yet?

I met my cousin and his friends for dinner today, since they were leaving Sentosa when I ended work. I had duck rice at Seah Im, opposite Vivocity, Its only 9pm and I'm dozing off..

I have been made very confused by the turn of events. What's going on in his head?

千四百零一: 地獄

You are going to hell for all these games you play and the things you make me do.

I am going to hell for not saying no to you.

千四百: The Dentist

I finally went to the dentist to fix the wire that was sticking out of my front teeth today. I thought that I could bear the pain until the next appt on 26th May, but the wire was totally in the way of me brushing my teeth and also the other wires on the other teeth was coming loose cos of this wire. so I rushed to the dentist after work and luckily there was only 1 cute guy waiting for the dentist when I reached. heh. I think he was very surprised that the dentist let me in before him when he came first and had been waiting for a while. hoho. it pays to be friendly to the dentist. But I think it's just that he thought my wire-fixing would take alot less time so he just let me jump in before the next person.

And I was finally able to take a picture of this:
Frank Muller
Franck Muller

I wonder when I will be able to afford this.. Everytime I reach Vivocity, the store has closed and the watches are all taken in and kept in safety, finally I had the chance to take a picture of this on Monday. I want!!

千三百九十九: Yoghurt Can Kill

If you do not wish to be afflicted by terrible diarrhoea and tummy pains, please do not ever eat plain yoghurt. It can cause so much pain in trying to clear out your bowels, probably the bacteria (that are supposed to be the same friendly bacteria in Yakult and Vitagen) and also trying to remove your intestines, your stomach and everything inside of you at the same time. I ate some for lunch and I am paying the price for it even until now. *groans...*

Yesterday morning was pretty eerie. I was changing for work and I heard a loud knock on my room door. BUT my family had gone out already and my sis was still in bed. I stopped and tried to listen out for another knock but I couldn't hear anything so I dressed hurriedly. I walked to the living room and I kept having the feeling that I was being watched which was very creepy. In bright daylight no less. hmm Ok it was kinda cloudy which added to the eerie atmosphere. So I went out of the house and shut the door thinking "shit, i hope my sis is ok alone with whatever's there" cos I haven't had the creeped out feeling in the house for a really long time. When I waited for the lift, as I watched the number on the display panel change, I felt a tap on my shoulder and I jumped, I was so startled. But I was alone! All the hair on my neck and arm was positively standing by then and the lift came and i just walked in and plonked myself against the elevator wall and started praying in my head "dun harm me pls!!!" and when the elevator finally reached ground floor I almost just ran out. It was too much excitement for the day.. I just hope it doesn't happen again.

千三百九十八: フランスブーム

I've just unwittingly come upon Audrey Tautou's blog, http://audrey-tautou.org/ and apparently the movie was part of the French Festival Voilah in Singapore. The movie is half a year late, it was shown in France in December 2006.

& finally!! Someone has answered my call to learn French with me at Alliance Francaise. It's not very cheap though, compared to Japanese, and we're still wondering which lesson we should take, weekday 4 hours a week or just Saturday for 3 hours a week. Based on the fees, the 4 hour course is definitely cheaper, ($10.50 per hour vs $10.125 per hour hahaha) but then we didnt factor in the cost of the text book. If I take the 4 hour lesson , I can just use my sister's textbooks I think, since they are the same, just buy the workbook or something. But, I might have OT and to commit 2 nights a week for lessons is abit tight. YH! we must discuss this again soon!

Yesterday I watched Be With You and the twist at the end was so romantic!! And the actress, Aki in Pride, has that kind of vulnerable face that makes her very very suitable for such roles. The other movie, Nobody Knows, had quite a disappointing ending. What happened to the mother??! nothing, no punishment? We would have felt better if she had been arrested or something, more drama to the show. In the actual event, she was actually sent to prison. The kids weren't living so well either. Bah! Kinda disappointing considering how much our sensei recommended it.

We celebrated Mother's Day at my grandma's place, there was so much good food and most of it finished for a change. My mum brought curry chicken and fried beehoon and another aunt cooked stuff like taiwan sausages and fried chicken wings. I couldn't leave the table even after I was full, everything smelled so good. I didn't know we had such an early dinner until we were the last to leave the house at 8.30pm?! we usually left at about 9++, 10 pm, and we had finished watching a movie on Channel 5 so it felt like much time had passed.

I think I don't want to move on le.

千三百九十七: Hors de Prix

Priceless

You must catch this movie! Decided to watch this movie today with my cousin, it was a good decision. The movie was hilarious, and its not the usual sappy romantic comedy. Audrey Tautou was so sexy in the movie, and her figure probably leaves all women envious. The lifestyle she leads in the show is also pretty unattainable unless you do what she did. ok i'll only say so much, but do catch it, cos even for a wkend movie it was very worth it. :)

Got myself the VCD for Be With You (いま、会いに行きます) and Nobody Knows (誰も知らない) from HMV today; they were selling it as a set strangely, these 2 movies that I been wanting to catch. I can't find the poster image for Be With You however, so here's the poster for Nobody Knows.

誰も知らない Nobody Knows

I had a chendol Mr Softee in the evening, haven't had it for ages and it was cheap and good! only $0.90 with my cup filled to the brim. :)

千三百九十六: Boots

Today I decided to wear boots to work.

It was raining cats & dogs in the morning (thunderstorms at night and I love the sound of thunder while I sleep) & I made an impulse decision to wear boots to work since I had holes in the soles of my sneakers and I did not want to get my feet soaked in slippers or heels.

It felt abit weird, like I was overdressed, but heck it, at least I had dry feet and could walk around in puddles. hoho. & in the office some girls had that "wth is she wearing boots?" look on their faces but .. heck la. next time i'll wear the boots with a dress or skirt I think.

but towards the end of the day I could feel my toes starting to hurt a little. & I was pretty glad to be trudging home.

The bruise on my hand is almost gone! and I can hardly feel the lump in the wrist anymore! the pain was totally worth it! now I should go for a few more follow up sessions and then it might be healed ? hmmm

千三百九十五: ご当地検定

I played this game with Shinji today after work and turns out my results are not half bad. it's a game testing your knowledge about areas in Japan and I actually manage to win some rounds. (namely during the Osaka & Okinawa rounds) hehe.

The blue mark on my hand has faded a little, while the swollen part seems to be subsiding as well. But the puncture wound still seems to be as big as ever. He used an extra thick needle this time, and there was actually blood after the session so I was feeling abit apprehensive while he twisted the thicker needle into my hand. There hasn't been any visible wound after all the treatments so far.

I was very stupid this evening. I was supposed to meet H for dinner at clementi and I came out and took 175 on the side of the road that was leading to AYE jurong. after about 5 min, the bus turned to depot road then to Bukit Merah, Henderson area and I was thinking, how does it go to clementi from here? I hadn't taken the bus before so I was kind of surprised cos i knew positively the bus did terminate in Clementi. apparently I had taken the bus on the wrong direction!! By the time i realised, I was thinking, let me just drop off at the next MRT station but the bus did not go pass a single station at all, and it went from Henderson to Outram to Zion Road to Great World City to Orchard and I finally alighted at Plaza Singapura. (-.-!) The whole trip took about 40 min. argh. then I had to take the train to Clementi from there. (o.O) I was late about an hour for dinner , very paiseh, but luckily H wasn't angry or what. We had a good dinner of sambal stingray and crayfish and we caught up over a leisurely dinner. :)

the weather is so horribly hot and sticky that i've taken to bringing out the fan that the Capcom people got me. the paper fan hor, their beautiful japanese types so that I can fan myself before my perspiration overwhelms me and before my makeup dribbles down my face having been melted by the weather. argh. but then the weather isn't much better in Japan I think. :p

千三百九十四: Under the Bandage

This is what my hand looks like after I took out the bandage.

DSC00353
a Gigantic Bruise

ok, I think the blue part is just from the ointment stain that was in the bandage overnight. hehe. in case you were shocked. But the swollen part in the middle with the puncture is where the acupuncture took place.

Today was pretty hectic at work. The system I was in charge of was just plagued with problems today, and I had to keep running back and forth to speak to my user and she didn't seem to hear what I said, and kept repeating the same questions. (><) argh!! and another guy, he just kept bugging me with the same questions for access requests. Read the emails!! Why do you keep asking me the same things when I've already answered your questions??

& I had forgotten how time-consuming meetings were. It was good to have meetings when I had alot of time & very little work on my hands, but this week I don't really have that luxury. We were forced to take a 2 hour lunch due to the rain and we were stuck at the food court, unable to go back since there was no shelter from the place to the office and time just flew by from then on. I had to prepare for my first meeting with someone from the European office today, it was a very big eye-opener. He was charismatic, very nice speaking voice, very forceful in a polite way, and it was quite unnerving that he kept smiling while looking into your eyes as he spoke. :s We have a meeting tomorrow morning again, so I better be prepared. My boss seemed to think I would know everything about the project, while I was just thrown in halfway and just floating on the buoys that WK passed to me. She herself hadn't attended a single meeting of this project, but obviously she knew more about the company & could just come up with questions on the spot. When the European guy asked us questions, she was looking at me for confirmation when she answered. (o.O) I can only hope my answers were not too far from the truth.

Tonight's wireless connection in my house is super cranky. I think it might be time to change either the router or my laptop soon.

千三百九十三: Wrist Relapse

The lump in my wrist came back. It hurt, so I decided it was time I went back to the doctor's and that I had been putting off the visit for too long.

So after work, I rushed down to Kembangan with WK who actually lives in that vicinity, and since it was so near his place, he came into the doctor for his own wrist injury as well. The crowd was quite thin today, so I didn't have to wait long. But the treatment hurt like mad today. He poked 4 needles in at the same time for the acupuncture and after 20 min he took them out and there was blood from one of the punctures. (><) The doctor then did the Chinese massage thing on my hand before bandaging it up with some medicine rubbed on my wrist area.
bandaged wrist
all bandaged up..

So my right hand is again immobile for a day until tomorrow evening. Had some trouble in the shower just now, it just didn't feel very clean until you actually use your right hand to scrub your face, your hair etc.

How do those banks know when to call you to get you to apply for their cards? Suddenly I'm getting alot of calls lately, how do they know? I know the sales people are just trying to make a living, so I try not to reject them but when they push me to sign up for 2-3 cards for the same bank, I get very irritated. Why do I need like the Platinum Visa and Platinum Mastercard, on top of the Lady's card?? I won't bring more than 1 card out anyway, are they sponsoring me a new wallet so that I can fit all the cards? Their new sales gimmick should be to provide members with some branded wallet with ALOT of card compartments and to tell them they don't need cash anymore. (-.-)

ok J said he also wants to join me in my extended trip to Seattle for the San Francisco leg, so it will be great to be not flying alone there I guess. I can't wait for the date of the workshop to be released so that I can start planning.

Finally its Wednesday tomorrow. I am counting down to the next payday.

14 more working days!!

千三百九十二: One per month

Oh my, we seem to be running through them at the rate of one per month. I wonder what's up for me next month.

Cryptic you might say, but those who know will know what I mean.

Lost a friendship of 6 years (was it ever a friendship to begin with??) today or to be exact on Saturday when someone took offence at something I said that shouldn't even be taken offence of, it was just a normal question. But, being the ticking timebomb, as I was always wary of him for this reason, I accidentally set him off. His tone on the phone was pretty obvious, even though I didn't see any fault in my words still. But if he insists on being petty then its no loss to me as well. I called to make peace, but if that's the way he wants it, I don't really care either way. He wasn't here in my life for the past 6 years, it isn't hard to just erase out this blot again. At least I don't have to be perpetually alert of what I have to say around him, which is really not a friendship at all if I have to do that.

We met a new boss from Redmond today, she seems friendly, I like the way she speaks. I think she probably can remember my name today after all the jokes they crack with my name in it, and I think I am just going to try to work my way up. It isn't impossible for us, but not easy, but I guess you must climb the right ladders to do so.

Its been 4 months past since I began working here. How come it feels so short and long at the same time?

千三百九十一: Ben & Jerry's

I went to scout Birkenstocks today with CJ.

After a few rounds of walking around the shop at Raffles City, I finally found a pair that suited me. but it was so ex!! $159. (><) the straps were suede I think, not the normal hard leather since my feet were too skinny to really look nice in the normal ones, and they were black with gold flecks. very very nice! but I must think 3x about the shoes cos the price is really abit too high for a pair of slippers as an impulse buy. argh. and I think i need to check out the exact model of the pair of Birkies that caught my eye to check whether it is actually worth it to buy online. the most similar pair I saw online was not very cheap, bout 64euros, which will end up costing about $130++ due to exchange rates, which means that to wait a month plus for these shoes might not be that worth it aniway. After walking around the stores, he finally got hungry and I managed to persuade him to eat waffles for lunch at Ben & Jerry's. hehe. it was goood! ok it was so good i already ate like 60% of it before I remembered to take pictures but here it is..

Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream on top of Belgian Waffle with fudge, whipped cream and sprinkles.. Yum!

After that, we walked to Robinsons and wanted to utilise my voucher for some cosmetic products but it was a little to expensive for my $100 voucher to be of much use. (><) I had nothing else to buy (I didn't buy anything actually) so we decided to head back and me to pass him some stuff from my computer. I got to see his room and it got me thinking that's it's a pretty high level of trust to have of someone to show them your house and your room. cos its really very personal space that you are showing that person. so I think i appreciate it alot that he trusts me enuff to show me his place (which is super near my primary sch, he can practically just climb over the back fences) :)

千三百九十: Sleep

I think i slept for 13 hours last night.

I just felt so exhausted that I woke up in the morning, went to take a morning nap at 10+am, until 12.30pm and forced myself to wake up to go for japanese lesson, then came back home, went for dinner with my parents and then came back at about 8pm, and fell asleep almost immediately until like 1am. I can't remember why I woke up, at about 1am, was thinking whether I wanted to continue sleeping and I think I drifted back to sleep. hmmmmm.

so here I am at 8am on a Sunday morning.

千三百八十九: Old Friends

I bumped into a friend I hadn't seen for about 6 years from uni. I was waiting at the dark bus stop at my workplace for the stupid 963, and then i saw this familiar face walking towards the bus stop with a girl in hand. :) i held his gaze when he walked past me and sorta waved but he didn't seem to recognise me. later on he walked to me and we started chatting. his gf was too shy to come over though.

In the afternoon, i saw R, a friend whom I hadn't met in about 5 years as well. Actually I met him yesterday, to borrow something, and today was to return. but yesterday was just b4 the movie so it was quite a rush. and today passed him back his stuff then he left. everyone looks the same but older. more jaded. I wonder if I do too.

today was quite free at work since I had finally cleared everything I was supposed to do by today. Multiplayer games with Shinji has become something of a routine. We started on MoMotarou Dentetsu the other day, we tried Zoo Keeper yesterday and today we were playing mahjong. It was pretty fun, abit nolstagic of the times I used to play DS with Ryo. sighz.

I wonder what lies ahead.

千三百八十八: Spiderman 3!

my first movie this month and its free!

:)

courtesy of the office again, at least this time they chose a blockbuster movie. so many people signed up for it that they had to buy tickets for 3 theatres in vivocity. yes, 3 theatres full of just our staff and their family members.

the show was pretty exciting, and Akane and me were screaming out at all the parts where things happen. haha. she and I are on the same wavelength, which is very good actually, cos i find her very funny. Shinji was on my left and he said he was startled by me rather than by the movie. -.- but the whole movie was full of shots following spidey jump and swing from building to building, and it felt abit like sitting in those 3d simulator rides in Universal Studios. which was great! effects pretty good, there were quite alot of humour and funny parts in the movie as well. Go watch !!

saw the trailers for Pirates as well as Ocean's 13. so many movies to watch this month!! and there's shrek 3 coming out somewhere soon.

ok good nite everyone!

千三百八十七: First Month

Okie, I visited XH & the baby again today, she has passed the first month mark! at least the baby was more active today, she was crying alot but i think I preferred it when she was sleeping alot. haha. We were supposed to go JP and walk around but the baby started crying & vomiting b4 XH set off so we decided to me dapao-ing food to her house instead. which was actually what I had thought of when I was on the way, as my eyes could hardly open. So i got KFC for her, and towed it all the way to her place from JP. I didn't know that 2 KFC meals added up to pretty considerable weight. or maybe i was just tired. but thanks for the treat though. :) had a good chat b4 her husband came home, was surprised to see her mother in law come to her place as well. oh well, at least we had some privacy to talk about quite alot of stuff b4 they came home.

today i was feeling quite cheerful at work until my boss said something totally irritating. It's another PH for Japan tomorrow actually, but she had already told us to be in the office this whole week cos of the tests, and then suddenly she realised that "ok, we seem to have completed much of the work, can you dun come tomorrow to the office so that i dun have to give u off-in-lieu"? WTH?! u made me give up my plans for the tests and now u tell me last min ok tomorrow u can dun need to come, what am I supposed to do tomorrow when i had planned for work? I want my off in lieu to use as and when i like! u wan me to dun work should have told me earlier, not just tell me 1 day ahead and I can't make any plans and will probably only just sleep the day away since everyone else in Singapore is working. grrr!!

mr Beng at the office smiled at me today. but i dunno where his wife was standing or was she nearby so i just managed a shy smile and walked quickly away. its dangerous..

so far the phone calls have been coming every afternoon just to ask what i'm up to. keep it up!!

ooh tomorrow is the company movie event for Spiderman at Vivocity. so excited! and very happy the disgusting guy is not going to sit with us. hohoho

ok time to zzz
