first day

first day of work in R&D mgmt today.

it was the first day i felt that i really really learnt something and that the work they gave me i could do. (although i haven't been given any real work yet haha) but my new boss was quite nice, he gave me a proper go through of the dept and the company (for the new girl's benefit ahah) but its not bad cos he seems to be making an effort to try to make me feel ok. everyday at 5.45 he'll tell me that its ok to go home hehe. so nice! but it was pretty ok day.. didn' feel like i wasted the day for the first time.
