千百六十二：天橋立

i went to Amanohashidate today!



its a beautiful stretch of beach and pine trees and we relaxed on the beach for the whole afternoon after a 2-hour drive there.





the souvenirs there were very cute:



but the shops closed really early, at about 5pm.


and we saw the sunset from the top of 大江山。at least i think thats the name. the first 2 words are correct though. hehe. strange name, but the town is called 大江町 so the mountain is that name bah.



next time, i'll go to 松島, the last of the 3 scenic sights of Japan.
