think i lost a tuition job with a really lousy mom who expects really weird stuff. siao. anywayz. spoil my mood totally.

anyone wans to play mahjong? i haven played in such a long time. suddenly it seems crucial i do the so many things i haven done b4 next week. wat if i dun survive to do these things next week?

had a really scary dream. was ostracised by my frens for this girl they barely knew but yet they listened to her and agreed with her every word. i was so pissed i ran off but when i got to the lift, this lady who had just walked in before me had a look of horror on her face. an old woman sorta floated out and i decided to run down the stairs in fear. big mistake, apparently she could teleport to every flight of stairs and wait for me. i had to wake up to get her out of the dream.

uneventful day, just had headaches all day. think i need to sleep early, finally there's a 3 day break till the semis of euro, all the supporters can have a good rest..i just read the book "Heartswaps" by Celia Brayfield.. pretty warped concept of relationships.. about fiancees exchanging husbands to test their fidelity and such. erm. i can't take it, personally. pretty conservative bout such things still..

today was not a good day. found out some horrid and prolly life-changing news. haiz. i dun feel well.

sitting in a polyclinic today totally reminds us of how the country's healthcare system sux. is the National Healthcare Group privatised? cos everyone got pretty angry waiting for an avg of 45 min b4 seeing the doctor. it wasn't that there were tons of people, it was the same few people coming in and out, and the doctor took a break of at least 5 minutes btw each patient. COME ON@!!! people are dying out here!! then there was this man who prolly waited a long time to see the doctor, after that he was supposed to go to the next room to change his wound dressing or something but he waited another half hour for that. he got impatient and went to ask the nurse but she just told him she didn't get his file and he had to wait his turn. the man saw red and started spewing vulgarities. he went back to the doctor to demand his file and apparently, the doctor was still holding on to the file. another woman was complaining bout how the doctor told her to go beg the reception for a smaller number if she dun wan to wait anymore. my god. some one should do something bout the polyclinics.

i got a new phone! for free! haha.. not really, but my dad has the annual $500 voucher from singtel so he let me and my sis get new phones. :) i got the nokia 6610i, the screen resolution is actually not as gd as 6610. hmm.. at least now i have a nokia camera phone as well.. my sis got a LG7120, its her first flip phone so she's really excited about it :) after that they got pillows at the taka fair as well..

my dad brought us to the old airport road food centre for dinner, and i dunno why but my mom started throwing tantrums.. (!?) yah, she does that all the time. we're so used to it we just ignore her. my dad was like ordering the food and she refused to give any suggestions, yet after my dad ordered the stingray she made tons of remarks like it looked yucky and all. my dad got quite exasperated with her but at least he managed to stay patient still. i was a little irritated so i asked her to tell my dad wat she wanted to eat but she just became sullen and sulked in her seat. me and my sisters rolled our eyes at each other and just pretended my mom wasn't there. how dumb was that, a 45 year old woman sulking for nothing. the food came and it turns out that the stingray was really good (although it really looked dry) and my dad tried to pacify my mom by taking some for her but she just said she wasn't hungry and refused to eat anything. DUH. bochup, we all just eat lor. after a few unsuccessful attempts to ask my mom to eat, my dad gave up and just enjoyed the food too. oh well. dunno wat the hell is wrong with her, how on earth are we supposed to respect her if she does things like that all the time?

damn it.. another draw :( the bookies must be really happy.. stupid penalty shootouts. yesterday was quite fun, took pictures for the straits times article, so buy your Straits Times this THURSDAY!! :) then bought a new pillow at the taka household fair and new underwear at the tangs sale too.. erm.. lets just say i'm happy i need a change in my underwear size.. :P There's this mega singtel fair there too, so just go on down to check things out..

had a super weird dream last nite. no offence to anyone, but i dreamt i was vandalising a church, using a soccer ball to destroy the walls and the glass. after that i robbed an old man of his handphone. i felt so ashamed of myself when i woke up :(

i'm tired. so very tired. after i slept like 20 hours in total yesterday. wat's wrong? zzz

This is my 500th post :) woot! nv tot i'd actually have the determination to write something everyday. personally, i dun think my writing has improved at all :( i also did a change of template, which should be just temporary i think, just to have a change of environment. personally, this is too small.. no space for my words and picts and links.. a little too cutesy also.. some opinions please?

today almost couldn't get up again. had to summon every single ounce of willpower i had to sit up and get dressed. came home at 11+ to rest for the afternoon's session but the girl said to postpone cos she was out. even better, i get to rest and pack my room. now at least, i have one more shelf empty, and another bag of rubbish. haha.. went to make a new pair of specs, hope it makes me look better.. :P

man.. I don't know wat's wrong with me nowadays. no apetite, feeling super tired all the time even though i sleep at 1 and wake up at 11am, can't walk like 2 blocks without feeling super out of breath and perspiring like mad. are these the symptoms of any disease? actually wanted to go for a full body check up but my mom was against it, saying i'm too young for any big diseases anyway. erm.. thats a really duh line of reasoning. but these medicals do cost a bomb, i think >$200? hmm..

have to force myself to sleep early tonight, else i'll have to postpone the morning tuition tomorrow again. :( i'm really not a morning person!!

i just received my starhub bill for the month of june and guess wat, i've broken my incoming call record again!! woohoO!! the last record was 2 months ago of $301 but this month, my incoming calls made up a total of 2181 min and cost poor starhub $327! heh.. i dun feel guilty bout it at all, although i really do wonder how starhub is going to survive in the long run with customers like us.

i'm so happy today.. hp was off work today cos of his allergy and i went to cook him dinner :) alrite, it was more of him cooking, but i didn't get to help much cos he kept splashing the boiling water at me accidentally! oh well.. but the dinner was good and we had a long chat.. both things that we haven't done together in a really long time it seems. (the chat and the dinner)

had some stupid disagreements with a tuition parent today for yesterday's session. refusing to pay me for the time i stayed back to help the dumb kid. its not my fault that you wan me to solve every single question step by step and explain it to you as well, how do i noe it takes you that long to understand?? aniway, the stupid kid claimed to his mom that i wasted a whole hour on a question that i couldn't solve hence the extra hour needed. kaoz. kids are such liars. was pretty pissed and mentally made a note to nv stay any extra time for that kid again. idiotic.

my sis treated us to dinner at boon lay raja restaurant.. sort of a father's day celebration, and i treated bout $40 as well? heh.. the shark's fin was gooood.. but barely enuff for all 5 of us.. yum..

there was a wedding dinner going on at the same time and it was quite a horrible situation for the bride and groom. firstly, they always make this grand entrance during weddings rite? well.. all their tables were inside, nearer to the stage and the people along their path were all people like us who dun give a damn bout their wedding. so ... the dry ice and the lighting weren't helpful as the photos of them entering the restaurant showed background of pple who weren't even looking at them. after that, cos they were a christian couple, the MC read out a prayer they wrote in mandarin which sounded very very cheesy. like all christians, the groom thanked the Lord Almighty for everything during his speech, and he also thanked his parents for their hard work all these years by presenting to them flowers and a gift. (DUH!!!) seems wrong, shouldn't he be saying something like "i'm going to be a filial son"? anyhow, the MCs (one speaking mandarin and one speaking english) were sucky. broken english, mandarin that made you cringe. the bride looked like she was in her late twenties, but she gave a very nice speech, which made me feel quite touched.. (although i can't remember wat she said le.. :P) anyway, we finished our dinner after their yum sengs and it pretty much gave us a headache. took some photos of dinner, haven uploaded them in the comp so will show them tomorrow... heh..

had quite a lousy morning. i slept until 12. wasted it. and then woke up to sneeze and sneeze. packed my room a little, finally all my CFA books are under my bed. so there's only 1 pile of magazines on the ground now haha.. hp came to find me in the afternoon and we just lazed ard cos i was sneezing and sneezing. had taken a pill so was too drowsy to go anywhere too.. boring..

today went to like 4 tuition sessions.. dead beat.. :X nothing much happened, i guess when u're working life's a bore..

haven been taking pictures lately so decided to put up old photos :P this was from the bike rally, the guys all have their own bikes obviously, only i'm without a bike *sobz* took this at the end of the rally after they collected their bikes.. we were all so hungry by then..

finally. last night i had a good dream :) well, pretty good for my standards.. i dreamt that i was Legola's girlfriend (YAY!) and we were fighting side by side against the orcs. the orcs part wasn't so good but the girlfriend part more than makes up for it :P i dunno how to use a bow of course, so i just passed him arrows and stabbed any orc who came close to him with a dagger. hehe.. wat an exhausting night of great battles.
