千六百九十四: Weddingy stuff

went with S-san and the ladies to try to scout for a wedding dress within budget and also to preview the wedding venue. Can't believe how small sg is, managed to bump into YH at the wedding that the venue was having on sat morning.

we had lunch at 1827 to try the food.. it was pretty good but it was a bit pretentious, such small quantity for the price. i mean, it's thai food, need to make it the quantity of french food meh?

we headed down to Marina square after lunch to look at bridal shops.. I didn't know that the many shops from the past had shrunk to that few little stores there. In the end it was Golden horse that offered us the best rate. but I felt that the dress was too simple personally.

after that we headed to tanjong pagar, unfortunately we weren't allow to take photos else I would have shown u the one I liked best. was at Thomson bridal I think, the designer is named Ivan. super super super breath taking wedding dress but S-san said it wasn*t her taste, so went to look somemore. ah well. we finally found another one she liked, but it was abit too expensive compared to the first shop. (they quoted very low so it was hard to really beat that..)

shopped & dinner with Y-san & A-san at Raffles City. went home at about 10 plus. I can't remember what I did after that though.

Woke up at about noon on sunday and spent the whole day working on the PPT slides for the wedding party. at least it was pretty good (according to the critics) .

spent the day at work touching up the slides. need to check up on Phuket and also do up that stupid data for that stupid woman.

went to gym at bugis with H today, was on that stepper thing today for an hour (eq to 7.8km)and burnt about 480 calories. so little! but tired out.. good night.

千六百九十三; 早番

there's this incline stepper thing i discovered at the gym. it supposed to work out the thighs. if you make it less steep, its supposed to work out the lower calves area as well.

so sleepy now, reached home about midnight last night. I feel sore in some areas, mainly the legs, but its not like the kind of pain you feel after running 2.4km in sec sch. which is suprising. But I do fall asleep very easily, mainly in front of my PC actually. until i wake up suddenly and realised I should be sleeping properly.

my gum is swollen on my left side, dunno wats the reason for the sudden swelling.

and I saw this on another girl's blog so I'm going to do it for myself also.

千六百九十二: More Change

Finally got to watch the 7th episode of Change today.

i don't like this episode. Its the only one thats been so sad. and I don't like to see my idol sad. :(

my tummy hurts when I sneeze. and a sore neck. but pretty fine other than that.

& I realise i'm not the only one feeling the way I do. so it does mean I am right bout the character. humph!

千六百九十一: Sore Abs

Today went to the Bodylicious class at california fitness Raffles place with the guys.

it was disgustingly tough.

the class is good, as in I can see how u really get the abs by probably going to the class consistently but that's if u don't drop dead halfway. its like nearly a whole hour of leg raises, sit ups and crunches and squats/馬歩. the guys almost died with me, so I wouldn't say its cos i'm weak. hahaha.

have managed to drop my weight back to 45kg, now to maintain it.

finally got my leave dates confirmed, I hv to book the ticket after clearing my credit card bill first. i regret my excessive shopping in SF. I think it was the wallet at the airport that killed me. but if I actually calculate properly, I still have savings left end of this month though? so i'm kinda confused as to whether I did overspend or not.

still damn irritated by that person from yesterday. had a meeting today. and other pple who saw us having the meeting gave me the face when they saw me having the meeting. (these pple totally understood my feelings) & i was glad for some pple on my side. Some pple just dunno when to shut up and listen. the more u talk, the more u just show how stupid u are. however, did the person think we were all idiots to not be able to hear through all the smart alecky talk?

千六百九十: I need music!

quite angry at someone today.

her lack of listening/decision skills is really getting to me. all she knows is to whine whine whine/make use of pple. & come up with some stupid processes that will force us to go back to the stone ages.

and my seinnheiser earphones went all weird in the left side. I should have bought the JBL ones in SF! argh. I realised I can't do w/o earphones on the bus; kids and somemore stupid kids really piss me off. esp those who play their music from their handphones LOUDLY. I wonder what the phone companies were thinking to make music players that can play sooo loudly on handphones. do the designers even ride on public transport to know that such brats / idiots exist?

& apparently Citibank got some stupid rule about increasing credit limit increase. I must have a reason of travelling then they will increase. i was like huh?? its because i travelled thats y i need the increase now but cos i was stupid enough to tell the truth then they don't let me have an increase? -.-

going to go the gym tmr evening again I think. but just to workout a little since I can't wear contacts anymore & since I dun have much to do in my life, might as well get toned in the meantime. it never hurts to have more slender legs. :D

千六百八十九: Body Combat

today's gym session must be the most tiring of all.

firstly lack of sleep. woke up at about 9am (supposed to have woken up at 7plus but the whole family overslept) and then took a quick shower b4 parents drove me down to orchard.

walked about 1.6km on treadmill to warm up, went on the stepper thing for about 1km, then joined the body combat class with J. today's was the same steps as thurs, its really a test of coordination more than anything else for me. and the lunges. argh. almost broke an ankle when i involuntarily locked my ankle on landing once but luckily nothing happened except of a bit of soreness for a while after. and some weird jumps that i can't get. after the hour long session, walked 2km (at about 6.5km/h), stepped 1km and cycled 2.5km? did abit of sit ups too but i don't really like to use the machines cos i see so many sweaty guys use them.

walked to taka with J to see the samsung phones after that. but only for a while, cos i had to meet another J for lunch. had a good catch up session, and its been a while since i've been to the east area.

reached home feeling quite tired. cleared up lots of mail & envelops that were lumped on my table. sorted out my cosmetics as well (had been lazy in unpacking my stuff properly from the seattle trip) Ryo's going to US in July, to the E3 games show in LA. chatted with him for >3 hours today, its been 3 weeks since we properly chatted with each other due to his & my worktrips overlapping. finally decided on a hotel for Cheju, they have so many beautiful resorts there that it's hard to choose. (and the prices oso very high) i better confirm the september leave with my boss tomorrow as well. & also the date in October for Ryo to come to Sg.

千六百八十八: Bowling

Went bowling with my colleagues today.

Superbowl everywhere was fully booked. In the end we went to West Coast recreation center. As expected, my scores were not too good. but surprisingly i hit a double strike in my first game. :D scores were 73, 66, 82 in the respective games. everyone were amazed. (because once again they tot me very weak and expected me to get a score or about 50 ... )

kungfu panda with A tmr.

something is sorta amiss.

anyway. seattle photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/alexxis/sets/72157605696349861/
I realised I did not take a single photo of myself. hahaha

千六百八十七: Party rush

going to the gym today.

very relaxed day since not many people in our department around.

having fun planning S-san's wedding. Abit of a rush, since there's like only 3 weeks left. hmm, hope all goes well. still trying to decide the venue. we realised there will be 12 single girls at the party. thats almost half the guests. n my boss will be there too. hmm. Not very keen on that.

teeth hurting. i gotta go dentist on sat to get him to tie back the rubber band again. it broke. hopefully it can come off by end of the month. there's only a 1 mm gap left , according to him .

千六百八十六: An sms post.

Saw the blog novel article concept in time magazine being up and
rising in japan. I can see how this works, alot of weird thoughts run
through my head when i'm forced to stand on the bus and at the same
time, you criticise in your head the pple sitting down. You notice
things you nv noticed along the way home. But i guess its easier to
come up with a story on the go if your data charges were free and if
it was a pda phone you're holding.
I'm actually on bus 963 now, texting this in sms style from my phone.

千六百八十五: zoHan

watched the movie *You don't mess with the Zohan* in SF with XQ on Saturday evening.

We had a relaxing day in SF, mainly shopping at A&F and Coach and then my clinique stuff and it was time for the movie. had an unfortunate ice cream incident related to my luggage in the morning and now the smell of milk is still stenching the whole thing. luckily it was mostly things that could be cleaned up but they also kinda stink now.

the movie was very funny but also abit too raunchy.

was supposed to hv a marathon of gossip girl but i fell asleep ... :S felt abit bad but its hard not to if i woke up at 5.30am everytime b4 I went to xq's place.

got quite mad / irritated / sick of someone. she talks too much, nv at the appropriate moments and now i understand why the comments about her were made the way they were.

千六百八十四: "Clean" towels

Disgusted at the towels here. Supposedly "clean" towels, for 2 days, on separate towels, I have taken them up to wipe my face dry and discovered hairs on them. (when they are supposed to be fresh from housekeeping) on the bath towel, it was some brownish short curly hair stuck into the towel. that totally grossed me out. eeeeeeks. don't even want to think where that came from. then the day after that, I took up a face towel and found a long strand of hair where it was folded. -.- seriously disgusting!!! I don't want to stay here anymore next time. confirm will go hyatt by hook or crook.

dinner treat from the core team at little italy (same as in december).

the weather feels like it was still the same as when i last came here in december. its 12 degrees celsus. i can't believe it. and the winds are freezing. what's going on??

千六百八十三: Disney Channel

Watched tv and I thought I would be happy with HBO but everytime I switched on the tV (morning/afternoon/night) they were showing the same movie. argh! in the end, I watched Disney Channel every night, where they showed The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, which was pretty funny.

I beat jet lag! the sleep thru sunday worked and today i was the most awake among the people from SG in the meeting. the rest were all nodding off. but we finished work late today and had dinner at a Japanese sushi restaurant at like 8pm (sun was still shining bright outside so it felt like 5pm.

trying to let my hair dry abit but its not really working in the aircon room. I woke up at about 5am for no reason today, watched abit of tv, fell asleep but it was time to wake up again. -.- tiring.

千六百八十二: SQ16

Finally in Seattle now, at Courtyard Marriott Bellevue. Feel abit cheated, the Hyatt Regency was much better and nearer to civilisation. here it feels like an old hotel? with not a single convenience store next to it. grrr. the hotel doesnt even have a lobby where u can take cabs from. (super koyak!?)

the flight was too long. i wasn't able to sleep much, which resulted in a very zombie-like feeling when i finally reached San Francisco and also a sore throat. & i was surrounded by big sized pple again!! (being cramped in my seat not being able to sleep for 18 hours is a damn sucky feeling.) feeling very grouchy and angry at the stupidity of the checks where they allow people to buy water after the security check but not bring into the plane. u dun trust the food you sell? what for have the security check? JP airports still have the best arrangement.

dapao-ed dinner from Asian Spoons.. ate a pill.. going to sleep ...

千六百八十一: Shorter

Visited my hairdresser at Far East yesterday with Yoshioka-san.

She wanted to repair a bad haircut from a very unpro hair stylist on Sunday so i brought her to my stylist. Luckily, my stylist did not disappoint her and gave her back wat she wanted. :D my hair is shorter now too.. and more layers? regret cutting the fringe..

ulcer on my lip due to the braces. teeth just feel so raw.

saw a gucci private sale with super long queue at DFS stores yesterday. abit exaggerated right? no money dun buy la? to find the best offers is one thing but to queue up for it.. totally dun look like pple who are supposed to be able to afford such things...

千六百八十: Gym

Joined Ayaka and Akane at the gym in the evening for a class of bodybalance. mainly stretching/yoga type of exercises.

wasn't that tiring actually, but i am super inflexible. I was ok for most of the exercises until those that require u to do leg raises. couldn't straighten my legs. heh

after that brisk walked on the tread mill for about 2km. then they wanted to leave so i had to follow... wanted to walk more...

feeling very sleepy now. good nite

千六百七十九: Sex & the City

watched the show with 3 other Japanese ladies from the office. i think i'm going to get the whole DVD series and rewatch the whole thing.

I wonder if realistically, if any relationship can last so long, 10 years, with all the drama / other relationships in btw and then the couple end up getting married.

had dinner at billy bombers and then going to the gym tmr as A's guest to just try out the classes.

Quite a few things to do this week, probably a haircut. have to watch Made of Honor with Akane as well.
